Mavcoat® EP-111

  • Considered the work horse in the industry, Mavcoat® EP-111 is a semi-permanent, water-based, non-silicone coating that yields a matte finish with excellent cosmetics. Surface is free of porosity and pinholes. There is little to no transfer making for superior adhesion of paint, print, or decals. Good for high volume production where release is applied to hot molds and yields multiple releases with a single application.

Mavcoat® EM

  • Ready-to-use, water-based system for high volume production where application to hot molds is made frequently because a semi-permanent coating is not wanted or needed. Mavcoat® EM produces a glossy surface finish on all thermoset composite systems.

Mavcoat® GSMR

  • A concentrated, water-based coating used for mandrel-built parts that eases extraction of parts from mandrel because high-slip lubricity polymers reduce friction at the mold surface. Mavcoat® GSMR is concentrated so it can be shipped overseas and diluted with water at the manufacturing site. Yields superior release of all thermoset composite systems.

Mavcoat® MMR

  • This is the ready-to-use version of Mavcoat® GSMR so it does not require dilution. Mavcoat®MMR is a water-based coating used in high volume production environments. Since it contains high-slip lubricity polymers, MMR yields superior release for parts built on mandrels or in compression and vacuum bagging operations. It is semi-permanent and will yield multiple parts with a single application or can be applied before every cycle in difficult demolding situations. Produces a glossy surface finish and releases all thermosets.

Mavcoat® EP-524

  • Mavcoat® EP-524 is a water-based, non-silicone, semi-permanent mold release coating that yields excellent cosmetic finish. It utilizes our proprietary ceramic-based technology which offers high thermal stability and releases polyester, epoxy, vinyl ester and other thermoset resins.

Mavcoat® KCP

  • Contains unique additives for high slip and is used for difficult to release parts in the most demanding applications. Mavcoat® KCP is fast evaporating, solvent-based, and semi-permanent capable of releasing all thermoset composites.

Mavcoat® 527ML

  • Contains unique additives for high slip and is used for difficult to release parts in the most demanding applications. Mavcoat® 527ML is fast evaporating, solvent-based, and semi-permanent capable of releasing all thermoset composites.

Mavcoat® AD

  • Seals the porosity of composite tools and accepts the mold release coating.

Mavcoat® ND

  • Seal porosity of metal tools and accepts the mold release coating.

Maverix Mold Cleaner – G

  • This gelled product clings to vertical surfaces, stays in place, and does not run down the tooling surface. It is a non-flammable cleaner that dissolves, encapsulates, and lifts all thermoset resins, epoxies, phenolics, urethanes, and thermoplastics from metal molds. The gel strips residue build-up from the tooling surface without attacking the metal.

Maverix Mold Cleaner – L

  • This is the liquid version, which is also non-flammable and dissolves, encapsulates, and lifts all thermoset resins, epoxies, phenolics, urethanes, and thermoplastics from metal molds. The liquid form allows Cleaner-L to be used in dip tanks and parts cleaning operations.

Maverix Cleaner 505

  • Is a strong water-based cleaner that strips wax-based release coatings from composite or metal molds. This is a good cleaner for removing the yellowish-brown build-up from composite tooling that occurs with repeated use. Cleaner 505 also cleans light films of styrene buildup.
