It provides a semi-permanent coating for multiple releases and keeps molds clean for longer production runs. Molds do not need to be removed from the press as often saving time and money. Since introducing this new technology, customers report running production for hundreds of cycles and hours of production before reapplication.

Mavcoat SP-27 Mold Release – Our strongest semi-permanent release coating. SP-27 contains a novel binder system designed to adhere strongly to the mold surface, which provides permanence for the release coating. Also contains a unique lubricity additive that allows good elastomer flow throughout the mold.

Mavcoat 687 Mold Release – Designed specifically for the release of silicone and fluorosilicone elastomers. 687 releases sticky peroxide-cured fluorosilicones with a thin film that reduces or eliminates knit lines.
