MOLD RELEASE PRODUCTS NEW Mavcoat SR Mold Release Semi-Permanent Release for Silicone Elastomers - Step up to new technology and eliminate the soap solutions typically used to release silicone rubber! Mavcoat™ SR is a water based coating for the release of silicone and fluorosilicone elastomers. It provides a semi-permanent coating for multiple releases and keeps molds clean for longer production runs. Molds do not need to be removed from the press as often saving time and money. Since introducing this new technology, customers report running production for hundreds of cycles and hours of production before reapplication. Mavcoat BML Mold Release – The industry workhorse, BML is designed to release all elastomers except silicone. Typically used in high volume production environments, this semi-permanent release coating provides multiple releases with a single application. Mavcoat 265-T Mold Release – Provides a light uniform coating and is typically used in production environments that have automatic spray systems to apply the release coating. 265-T Reduces or eliminates knit lines and splits due to its micro-thin film that does not transfer to the finished part. Contact Maverix Solutions For More Information on Mavcoat 265-T Mold Release
Mavcoat SP-27 Mold Release – Our strongest semi-permanent release coating. SP-27 contains a novel binder system designed to adhere strongly to the mold surface, which provides permanence for the release coating. Also contains a unique lubricity additive that allows good elastomer flow throughout the mold. Contact Maverix Solutions For More Information on Mavcoat SP-27 Mold Release
Mavcoat 687 Mold Release – Designed specifically for the release of silicone and fluorosilicone elastomers. 687 releases sticky peroxide-cured fluorosilicones with a thin film that reduces or eliminates knit lines. Contact Maverix Solutions For More Information on Mavcoat 687 Mold Release
Mavcoat 1000 Mold Release – Works as a concentrated release coating that contains no silicone and designed to be diluted up to 10 parts water to 1 part release coating. Mavcoat 1000 is typically used as a cure tape release agent in the hose manufacturing industry and performs well as a mandrel lube. It is also used in applications where parts are post finished.
