Mavcoat™ 178 PAINTABLE MOLD RELEASE
Mavcoat™ 178 contains no silicone oils and is designed for all thermoplastic resins where post decoration is required. Mavcoat™ 178 will not interfere with painting, hot stamping, or vacuum metalizing. Mavcoat™ 178 should be used on white or clear parts that are easier to demold. Always test this mold release agent in your application to insure compatibility. If difficulty is encountered, parts can be cleaned with a detergent or a mild solvent. Packaged twelve 16 fluid ounce cans per case.
Mavcoat™ 188 PAINTABLE MOLD RELEASE
Mavcoat™ 188 is our workhorse release agent for all types of injection molded plastics and contains no silicone. Finished parts can be hot stamped, printed, metalized or painted. Use Mavcoat™ 188 on parts that contain color and on more intricate molds that require a longer release coating. Mavcoat™ 188 Mold Release does not build up on mold cavities. Use this mold release agent sparingly, a thin film is all that is needed. Mavcoat™ 188 does not migrate or drift through the air. Packaged twelve 16 fluid ounce cans per case.
WHY THESE MOLD RELEASE PRODUCTS ARE UNIQUE
Mavcoat's mold release agents contain antistatic compounds to prevent shadowing and color swirling on parts. Granite colors come out separated and clear. All mold release formulas substantially improve release properties because the active ingredients have greater affinity for the surface of the substrate than the finished part, so transfer is minimal. Also, each product provides a smooth clear release without breakdown or attack of the formed resin.
USE AND APPLICATION OF MOLD RELEASE AGENTS
Lightly spray mold prior to each molding. Multiple releases are possible and ease of release will depend upon the type and design of the mold. Conduct small-scale trial runs under actual operating conditions before use in production. Contact Maverix Solutions™ For Mold Release Agents
